Nestled in a valley at almost 8,000 feet, Cottonwood Springs Ranch enjoys moderate temperatures, gently sloping terrain and an equestrian buffet of grasses planted specifically for our performance horse’s health and nutrition. On 600 acres, the ranch includes a breeding barn, foaling barn, mare motels, outdoor riding arena, cutting arena, cattle facilities and most importantly, a cozy guest house with Texas creek running through the backyard.
Our horses can be born in freezing temperatures, slog through several feet of snow when they’re yearlings and play on mountainsides as two year olds but have to be horses before they become superstars. Given the expectations that will be put on their bodies as show horses, we focus early on building athletic endurance and sharp minds. |
